Some Info about Aprillwaves Rock Band
Aprill Waves is an Indian rock band from Rourkela,Orissa, formed in April 2008 by friends Deepak Toppo, Goodwin Toppo, Atul Ekka and Abhishay Toppo. Although the band is commonly classified as Alternative Rock and are pioneers of Metalcore, they have always loved to classify their music as Rock 'n' Roll. The band started its journey with much anticipation, entered in band competitions, concerts and learnt more and more every time. Membership remained stable until lead guitarist Abhishay Toppo left the band in December 2008 to pursue his studies and was replaced by Ravi Baral 2 months later. In November 2009 Ravi Baral also left and then came Nishant Sagar, a highly talented lead guitarist. Since then members have not changed and they have traveled a long way winning and growing in music. Considering, the likes of citizens of Rourkela that is more of bollywood pop music, Aprill Waves has successfully dominated Rourkela and introduced it with Rock 'n' Roll. After this act, several other bands also started to emerge but they still haven't been able to join the league as of the Aprill Waves. Hence, Aprill Waves enjoys being on top of every other band in Rourkela and continues playing mesmerizing music, the music they love.
