After a long Interval, Biju Pattnaik University of Technology, Rourkela (BPUT) has finally started M.Tech courses in five different engineering streams from this current academic session. Admission to these M.tech courses in five different streams have already start and as per information from the source of BPUT, sixty six students have already joined in BPUT, Rourkela through the Odisha-joint entrance examination (O-JEE) and the classes are set to be start or scheduled from 2nd week of August, 2013.

As per sources we got to know that , the five different engineering streams which are introduced by BPUT, Rourkela are :

1. Power system Engineering
2. Machine Designing 
3. Computer Science Engineering
4. Very large scale Integration and Embedded System
5. Bio-Technology   

And each of subjects have 18 seats in the University academic.As per the sources till now no one has taken admissions into the Bio-Technology stream where as 66 students have already joined in other four engineering streams.

They said: as the admission process is still continuing other remaining seats are going to filled up very shortly.
